Summer 2024 Art Camp at Gander Studio
Our 9th Fantastic Year!

Gander Studio Art Camps are a great way to nurture your child's creativity. Through art games and collaborative projects, your child will learn teamwork in a creative environment. Drawing prompts, challange projects, recycled art, working with clay, creating faux drinks and milkshakes, painting with watercolors and acrylics, collage, creating potions, and more with engaging materials will keep your child excited and creating throughout the 4 days of Art Camp.
Each camp includes a lesson on Glass Art by our fabulous guest artist from {the shard yard}

Mondays - Thursdays, 9 am - Noon
All Supplies are provided
Each of these Art Camps are for Rising First Graders & up *exception: Doll House Camp is for Rising 2nd Graders & up
We recommend wearing old clothes that can get messy!
Please send your child with a covered water bottle, water only, please.
We provide a mid-morning snack. It changes daily and typical offerings are: popcorn, pretzels, Goldfish, fruit chews. If your child has any allergies, please send a daily snack & be sure we know about the allergy.
At 11:50am on Thursday, our artists host an Art Show, where they show off all of their artwork. This is an important element to the week as we encourage them to tell their adults what art materials they've used and how they created their works. No artwork goes home before Thursday, the conclusion of the camp. Your child may decide to surprise you at the Art Show, or, give you sneak peeks throughout the camp when you pick them up.

Pirates & Mermaids 6/10 - 6/13
Come, explore the sea with us as we create & paint Pirates, Mermaids, and sea creatures. Expect to paint, sculpt, craft, create potions & fake drinks.

Fairy Gardens 6/17 - 6/20
Create an imaginary world for fairies using a wide variety of crafting materials including lots of elements from nature. This camp includes Mystical Fairy Potions and a magical fake drink. This camp typically sells out.

All Creatures Great and Small 6/24 - 6/27
Animals, both real and imaginary, are the theme of this engaging camp. Expect to paint, sculpt, craft a 3D animal, and more. Each camper should bring an 8x10 black and white photo of their pet or favorite animal.

Out of this World 7/8 - 7/11
Blast into Outer Space with us as we paint a beautiful nebula, create space ships, robots, and more. Space potions and an amazing fake astronaut drink are all part of this fun-filled camp. This is another camp that typically sells out.

Super Heroes & Villains 7/15 - 7/18
New to our camp line up this year! We are super excited to paint and carft in the world of super heroes and villains. Among the fun projects planned are Super Power Fake Drinks and Anti-Villain Potions

Doll House 7/22 - 7/25
This incredible camp sells out every year. Each camper receives a 2-story wooden doll house, (that we build right here in our studio). We'll learn to plan out each room, choose color schemes and artwork, then paint, wallpaper, build, and craft. The results are amazing and your child goes home with their doll house that they'll play with for years to come. Due to the advanced technical level of this camp, the age requirement is Rising 2nd graders and above.

Sweets & Treats 7/29 - 8/1
This is one of our most popular camps, year after year! Your child will paint a beautiful sweet treat on canvas, and create fake bakes, an Incredible Extreme Faux Milkshake, and other delectable treats. Don't wait on this camp, as it also is one of our sell-out camps.
